Picatinny female slot

I bought a tool to cut the female picatinny slot. I can’t find a spec for the slot. Used a piece of scrap delrin and cut a slot which fits one of my pic rails, doesn’t fit the other 3. Apparently they are not the same. My concern is if I cut it to fit the largest it will be real sloppy on the smallest. Any specs out there?

That’s the rail (male). I’m looking for what that slides into.

The weaver does have a narrower grove of .180 or something like that

Kelbly .206, stiller .205, bat .208 and .209. Those are 4 i had laying here

I may not have used the right terms. This is the “slot” I was referring to.


This is the tool I used.

After running down the centerline, I offset .130 left & right so the .591 dimension became .851. A bit more than .835 yet doesn’t fit these.




But does fit this.

That’s why I was wondering if there was a spec for that “slot”.
