phoenix sight base help

I have a savage palma rifle and a set of phoenix side mount sights what do you recommend for a sight base I tried a egw rail and a lipski mount but the sights sit too high and off to the left I tried all different positions of the lipski plate but it still sits too high need some ideas thanks

Is the receiver drilled and tapped for a side mount? You could also try a Carl Boettger side mount/scope mount combo. I have one on an RPA that works pretty well.

yes the receiver is drilled and tapped on the side of the receiver
