Peterson or Lapua brass

I Have Both Peterson and Lapua, in 6.5 Creedmoor and can't see, ANY "Accuracy" difference between the Two.
I'm having to, Anneal the Peterson Brass at,.. the 3rd Firing ( No Big Deal ).
Haven't shot, the Lap Brass enough YET, to know,.. IF they,.. "Work Harden", as fast !

The main difference is going to be in neck thickness consistency. Lapua will win.
I found Peterson to be very consistent, like within .0005"
it was like .014" .0143, .0141 .014 .0145" etc
But then of course simply neck turning can remedy that as many peoples chambers are custom
or we skim turn the neck to just be sure
If Lapua is better than this then Lapua may win in that dept but
Every Lapua case bigger than BR cases I found to have Wayyyyy too heavy of neck tension
Even after annealing to try and remedy it, it still was heavy
it messes with the tune big time
So I'd prefer Peterson with smooth nice even neck tension and have to skim the necks

The 1st Peterson cases I used were very consistent, next batch, not so much. I have never has a Lapua the varied over .0005.

I understand where youre coming from
If a guy does not want to neck turn then Lapua would be a good choice
If it is no big deal to uniform the necks, I would go with Peterson
I will say I have only tested 2 batches of Peterson so far
And will be testing some 30/06 soon myself
But my experience with recent 260 Lapua brass ... which should not have felt like 300 WINMAG brass
steered me away from Lapua and to Peterson with happy results
--------------------
However, I will give to Lapua, it is TOUGH brass that lasts a long time
I dont have enough reloadings through the Peterson yet to make that determination
But I love the way Peterson feels, sizes, neck tensions, weighs etc.
I favor Remington Brass for it's "Feel" mostly in smooth, consistent, even neck tension.
Peterson feels exactly the same to me, but needs less brass work

Gonna order some 30-06 brass to make into 25-06, how does Peterson compare to Lapua? I’d rather buy American made stuff if it will perform at least as good,
In comparing the case specs there was almost no difference with my .308 cases, like the neck wall thickness was only a hair difference and primer pockets very close to the same. But. . . Peterson's web thickness is much thicker, .170 - .171" for Lapua vs. .184 - .187" for the Peterson's. Also, in doing some measuring of the hardness, the Peterson brass was slightly harder. While my experience is inconclusive, that difference in hardness might explain why some of my Peterson brass didn't last quite a long as I often see with my Lapua brass.

I don't feel you'll go wrong should you choose to go with the Peterson brass. :)

Biggest difference I’ve noticed is that Peterson cases grow more axially than Lapua. I’ve usually trimmed OAL 1 or 2 times on many Lapua 6BR case lots over the course of 10-15 firing cycles. I’m having to trim Peterson cases nearly every firing cycle to maintain the same OAL range.

Exactly this.

I've had great batches of peterson... others that were not worth shooting due to inconsistent thickness.... and before anyone mentions neck turning...

The variation went thru the length of the case.

I'd like to try some Peterson but over here it's significantly more expensive than Lapua, if you can even find it, so doesn't make a lot of sense. I'd like to try some SRP 260 Remington brass.
