Peterson brass longevity

I have read a lot about how Peterson brass compares to Lapua in terms of consistency but I haven’t found articles about its longevity. I have used Lapua 6.5-284 brass in a 7 Shehane for quite a while but now it is time for new brass. Does anybody have any experience with how long Peterson brass will hold on to a primer or split at the shoulder.

Have used both in my .308 and haven't run into any problem with primer pockets or splits though I've run medium to hot loads. I haven't used Peterson brass as long as I have Lapua's (only 11 firings on Peterson so far). Case web in my Peterson brass is quite a bit thicker than the Lapua's and I expect that thick web is true for other calibers. Since I anneal my brass after every firing, I haven't ever had any issue with splits with anybody's brass.

Here's a little chart of 10 case average measurement comparison of my Lapua and Peterson brass that you might find interesting (V=virgin, F=fired):

I have about 5 firings using Peterson brass in 2 different Weatherby Magnum cartridges.
(257 & 7mm)
Holding up pretty good so far.

Have 14 firings on Peterson 6.5-284 brass necked up and fireformed to .284 Shehane. Anneal after every firing. Never had a split neck and primer pockets are still tight enough (can’t tell you that they haven’t loosened up but still tight enough to retain primers and no loss of precision on target). Not loaded hot. 184gr Bergers at 2800 FPS.
