I set a personal record last weekend. I manage to hit the 3010yd target at the spearpoint elr match. I know plenty have hit farther but this one was a milestone for me being over 3k.

congrats!!!! I dont personally shoot elr but lately have set several personal best. I tend to think of myself as shooting against myself most of the time ( it eases the pain when everybody else beats me too). have a great day, bryant

I compete at 1000. Thinking of 3000 gives me a headache. Glad you got the long hit. At 3000yds how big is the target?

Wow , pushing that heavy a bullet that fast is crazy... Is the recoil pretty harsh..? Congratulations on your hit , that is crazy for to me....

Mine is a little more than some others I watch shoot about the same. My gun is about 28lbs, most are heavier. Not sure my pierce brake is ass effective as some others. I handle the recoil fine and can spot for myself but it’s a while before the bullets gets to 1500+

That is incredible! I truly can't imagine what is involved in this, perhaps someday but for now I'm limited to 300. Ha! Congratulations.

Took my wife out this time. She borrowed a friends 300 Norma shooting 230gr atips. First time she has shot the gun. She made hits all the way out to the next to last target at 2203! I think she is hooked Her with the winner. Her on the line with my friend.
