Let me start off by saying that this was a 3 month advantage to get this hog, the farmer had been telling me he was seeing a hog over from his house so I set up and watched the hillside, Several trips later and no luck seeing it, Fast forward to yesterday and me and my boy decided we would go hunting and ended up there. I was glassing the hillside and what do you know there's the hog!! So we got set up quickly, I ranged the hog 380yds, I loaded a round in my 6br dialed the up 4 moa settled my nerves as that's as far as I've ever had a chance to take a hog, I squeezed the trigger and sent the 70gr blitzking on it's way I watched the bullet anchor it through the scope, my son asked if I got it and I said yes! I was excited to say the least. Something caught my eye and I looked through the scope and low behold there was another hog just above the other one, so I loaded another round settled in, squeezed the trigger and anchored that one! My boy didn't have to ask if I got it by the look on my face he could tell !! It was a great evening of hunting, longest shot to date and a double to boot! But the best thing of all was to have my son with me to share the experience! !

The picture is not the best but the hogs are below the white hanging bird house on the hillside.

Way to go man! Two shots and two kills...can't beat that! It's always fun when you have a Son to share the experience!:D
I have a Son too and I hate to admit it but he can out shoot me now and then...gotta love that!!!!;):D

Thanks guys, yeah I should have walked over and took a picture of the hogs (victims) I usually do.

These Blue Ridge mountains are beautiful and that farmer really keeps his land up. It's one of my favorite farms to hunt.

I went to WV with Kenny Jarrett and his new (at that time) .220 Jaybird. I watched him wack a couple about 400 yards and I could see what I thought was red dust plume up. We walked out that way when we left and it looked like you shot a red spray paint can. The people we were staying with didn't like it because the carcass was too decimated to cook.
