Mine just dropped out so I renewed. Thanks to the Boss for adding the Credit Card option! I dropped my PayPal account.

Must have just happened, I re-upped a few days ago, & didn't see a CC option.

seems i renewed with a CC some time ago. i dont have PP anymore either. by the donate button i see CC logos. seems like the boss scolded me for asking why they didnt take CCs and said— yes we take CCs—-

Please note — you can also (as before) pay with a Credit Card using PayPal. You do not need an active PayPal account. Just select the proceed as guest option.

However about a month ago we did add a second payment service that can take all major credit cards. This seems to work a little faster than PayPal, which now and then had a delay in completing the upgrade directly to your account.

I just want to be clear that PayPal remains a system which allows you to (optionally) use a credit card and not just funds from a PayPal account.

This I don’t understand. If I can pay you directly using a credit card, why would I want to involve PayPal?

Forum Boss: As noted, for over a Decade members can use PayPal either with PP account resources OR a third-party major credit card. That gives you an option which is your choice.That has worked for many years for our Forum.

Many people prefer PayPal because it gives them a convenient annual record of various payments and expenses.

We have added an advanced new credit card payment system because it has advanced software that talks directly to our Forum software, as does PayPal.

So now members have two good options.
