Passing of Dallas Walker

It is with great sadness that I report the passing of Dallas Walker. He and his wife Flora were among the first people Sarah and I met at the first varmint match we attended in Wabash IN so many years ago. Those of you that knew him know what a truly fine individual he was. I don't think Heaven can get any better than it already is, this world, however, is certainly a lesser place with out him in it.

The following is from his friend Dave Todd.

"Dallas was a good man and a mentor and inspiration to many of us in our sport. Flora told me she wants to have " ... his Factory Gun and his Custom Gun at the funeral".
Certainly, a fitting remembrance for the father of varmint shooting in Indiana,"

I've shot a lot of matches with him over the last 20+ years. He was a great fellow and an excellent regional coordinator back in the VHA days. He'll be missed by many. Prayers for his family. WD

I am going to miss Dallas as he and I spent alot of time shooting at the range in Wabash honing our skills at 300 and four hundred yards. Dallas was always a great competitor and a gentleman to boot. His wife Flora is a very gracious lady and a great cook. RIP Dallas. Jay
