I’m looking for a safety detent spring for a Ruger M77 Hawkeye. Ruger calls it a D-32A spring. Cannot find one in stock anywhere that I know. Hoping some of you may have a wider net. Any help would be appreciated.

The spring out of a grease zerk(nipple) is sometimes the right size for wee stuff like that. Grind or file off one end of the zerk, then spend half an hour looking for the spring after it sproings. Then cut open another zerk(good thing they're cheap!) and catch the spring this time with a cloth/bag, or something.
