As indicated the Volquartsen seems to have a bullet weight cut off for reliability at about 35 grains . The Winchester 40 grain ammo was bad. 5 failures to function with 2 complete duds. I am writing that off as bad ammo. The minor problems are the rear sight loosened up so badly that it was wobbling in the dovetail. The muzzle brake also comes very loose. Some locktite seems to have cured the problems so far, but it seems that for the cost, this is something that should be taken care of before leaving the factory. Overall this is still the best functioning of all the 22 magnum semi auto pistos I have owned.
