Parallax issue with NF NX-8

I am doing some indoor ammo testing. I bought a CZ 457 MTR this summer. I first had a Leupold MK 5HD on it, but could not focus any closer than 50 yards. I swapped out the Leupold for a NF NX8 4- 32 I had on hand. My testing is indoor at 47 yards. Testing a few different kinds of ELEY, SK, and Lapua ammo. Five, 5 shot groups per ammo type.

ISSUE...it seems that I need to CONTINUOUSLY adjust the parallax to keep things in focus. And not just a tiny bit..... things are noticeably out of focus. I don't notice any parallax on target, just the focus issue. I don't adjust during a string. I wait and adjust before each string so I don't make any changes during a 5 shot string.

Any Ideas?

If you were shooting a centerfire, I'd suspect mirage from barrel heat.

i'd confirm the diopter is set correctly.

Set parallax to infinity. Look at sky or white wall and adjust for a fat black crosshair with rear lense. Now set paralexx for your shooting distance. If it is changing between groups I would return it for service.

How old are your eyes?If you can't get scope to focus on cloudy, dark days, but better on sunny bright days,it's an eye issue. Try switching eye.Have someone with young eyes look through scope.
I found out in last months NRL22 match, a stage where you had to switch hands,RH shoots left,lefty shoots RH. I'm a lefty,left eye bad,right eye is great , focus and parallax position aren't as critical as left eye,meaning I don't have to keep adjusting.
Some membrane on my new lenses on my eyeball appeared,I get it lasered off next week.

Also if you have to much cant,like 50 moa base, my NX8 is very blurry close to bottom or top of turrent travel compared to some of my other scopes with more travel.
I tried it in ELR22, zeroed at 47m/50 yds with 50 moa base to 16"plate at 500m,bad blurry at both ends.

Send it in for service...something is loose in the adjustment for the parallax.

Post your experience with Nightforce if you don't mind. I personally haven't had to use them in years, but it was horrible when I did. I've heard that may have changed recently.
