Parallax adjustment/setting

Parallax isn't just a focus issue, it's main effect is to properly align the lenses inside which eliminate movement of the target relative to your eye. In other words, adjust the parallax for a clear image and then move your head a little and see if the reticle stays on target, it will move but the idea is to minimize that movement.

^ ^ ^ this. tho I'd say it this way.... set the eyepiece for clear reticle focus, then adjust parallax to properly align the lenses and eliminate all movement of the reticle vs. aim point .

See here:

Properly setting parallax gained me about 0.1 - 0.17" at 50 yards, same gun, same ammo. That'll be several inches at 500 - 1000 yards and can win or lose rimfire matches at 50 yards.

Thanks. I do eye piece first. Then parallax adjustment so no movement in reticle. Just had question if they matched up. Guess it doesn’t matter as long as reticle is not moving
