Panda F action dimensions

I have a Panda F LA and having issues finding out whether or not LA and SA share the action screw/RL footprint. I know Kelbly answers email extremely fast during business hours but there's a stock I'm looking at right now ..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Normal"

Ouch lol
Didnt mean it like that, shoulda said “regular” or “mainstream” or non long action. Id call them normal and long action if you looked at their production numbers. Hey i even have a non long action right here in 6.5x284. Like i said- never seen a long one

I know what you mean. I snagged up the LA in a "do you want Ms Right or Ms Right Now" situation.

Maybe... Maybe Pandas are allergic to cats, but it's literally the worst shooting rifle in my gun safe, and that includes some lever actions. Multiple top smiths have looked at it and been puzzled as to why it won't shoot (with multiple top-brand barrels).

Probably would be nice of the thread derail crew to answer the question. I haven't got a short (standard) Panda to compare, but I can assure you that the long action will not fit into a stock inletted for the standard one without re-cutting the inlet (I think just lengthening the cutout forward and then a new recoil lug recess).

Derail crew is half the reason to come here.

Man i got 3 normal f class pandas on my bench but ive never even held a long action one

How’s the trigger timing and pin fall on the new F-Class actions Dusty? I know the timing on standard non-F pandas has been off in the past but I heard Kelbly’s has been working on improving it. The dual port F-Class model is in contention for a 1K BR rifle I’m thinking about building. I prefer BnA triggers specifically so if you’ve fitted one of those to a F Panda then that’s what I’d be interested in. Thanks for any info you can provide on that

I pretty much only use jewells. Pretty much the same as always on the pandas. They work fine and if you dont like the timing grab a new hanger from bullet central and itll put it where you want it. As with any good action they are fine out of the box but can always be improved upon

Why not send it back to Kelbly. They don't want bad advertising out here. Good luck.

Thanks for the input Dusty. Hangers do help to time a trigger quickly but of course that comes at the cost of lost ignition striking power. I personally won’t use a hanger for the purpose of trigger timing unless the required timing amount is small enough that the firing pin can maintain proper pin fall. There are good actions out there that run smooth with perfect timing and proper ignition pin fall right out of the box. Was just curious on the F-Class action but I’ll probably go another route. Thanks again :)
