PALMA?

Gents,
Lately, I've been looking at the Savage Palma rifle. Can anyone suggest an economical sight configuration? How about a source of used Palma sights?

I think you get what you pay for with optics, and I include micrometer sights in that class. There are occaisional deals on e-Bay if you can wait. Sinclair has several models for sale, and then there are the Warners.

I wish you luck in finding one at a bargain price, but perhaps you will find one from someone retiring or permanently moving over to F-Class...

With a Palma rifle, when you are talking sight you are looking at match iron sights.

Reasonably priced brands that are still excellent quality are the PNW and RPQ. If you keep an eye out on Long Range . com you see just about every brand of sight come up for sale new and used.

Good irons are just as expensive as a good scope so don't be surprised when you have as much in the sights as in the rifle.
