Painting Windflags

I'm going to try my hand at making a set of windflags. They will be dual vane and I'll be using corroplast for the vanes. Anybody have suggestions for a durable paint which will adhere to corroplast? Visible colors inside and out? How about surface preparation beyond a good wipe down with lacquer thinner?
Any and all useful info will be appreciated.

Don't waste your time with paint. Get some vinyl for signs. Check for it locally or on the net.
I have flags that have been outside for many months each year for 4 years now and they are still very bright.

Yes, use adhesive vinyl sheets or rolls. I bought mine at Hobby Lobby. They have fluorescent colors. I also used corroplast for the vanes and the adhesive vinyl adheres well.

Thanks for the info gents!

Couple coats of good spray paint 20 yrs ago has stood up well for me. When they get wet I dry them before putting them in their box, otherwise no special treatment, they still look good.

I used paint, which is a lot cheaper than vinyl. I wiped them down with acetone, gave 'em a light sanding with 320 grit paper, and wiped them down again before spraying on two coats. They're going into their 3rd season and the paint is holding up fine. For visibility I used fluorescent hot pink showing for left-to-right wind direction, and fluorescent yellow-green for right-to-left wind direction. I bought both rattle cans at Home Depot for about $12.

Good luck with whatever you decide to use.

I'm gonna rattle can mine. Same colors.

Its easy enough to repaint if the flo paint fades. I use the std white and flo orange. I do have 5 that i did in flo blue and white that i think i love more. Only issue is when mostly the entire field is orange and white it breaks your concentration severely to see a different color in the lane next to you trying to watch flags out of the corner of your eye while looking thru the scope.
