PACT XP Professional with IR Screens?

Just wanted to know if anyone has had any first hand expierence with this chronograph. I read alot of bad reviews from Midway's website. It seems to have all I need, but don't want to waste my money. Let me know!

I bought one of these a year and a half ago, at first it worked okay, very picking on set up so picky in fact I had to make cardboard cutouts and use a lazer bore sighter to get it perfectly lined up so it would work, not long and I had to use the infrared all the time even in the daylight to get it to read >:(, then the printer quit working, muzzle braked rifles never did work with it and now it will only read 22 rim fire's part of the time >:( >:( I highly recommend saving your money and buy a Oehler 35p or I could send mine off and get it warranted and sell it to you for a huge disscount.

Don't do it. I don't have time to type out the whole story with mine, but suffice it to say it was a total piece of crap and caused me nothing but problems. Ended up selling it at a huge loss "as-is" for parts after PACT "Repaired" it for the 2nd time(hint: still didn't work after two trips in for service...). I ended up biting the bullet and buying a Oehler 35P when they started making them again and could not be happier.

Good luck,
Erik

Like Erud, I also do not don't have the time to type whole story, nor does this forum have enough bandwidth for the negative comments that I could list about the PACT junk-o-graph. JUST DON'T DO IT OR YOU'LL BE SORRY LIKE I WAS!

I have since bought a CED Millenium chronograph that has performed extremely well over the las 5 years. Not one unrecorded shot. At the time I bought it, the Ohler was out of production, however a good friend has a 35P that I tested the CED against, yielding the same results.
