PACT dispenser

Ive seen alot of info about the RCBS chargemaster but I'm not so inclined to purchase a product made in communist China unless its the clearly better product. PACT's are made in Texas but I dont know much about thier dispensor. I have had a PACT scale for about ten years, only problem with it is that it stopped the ability to calibrate a while back. So the question is if any of you guys have any experience with this thing and if so do they throw accurate charges? are they too slow? Looking at their website it looks as if they have a great warranty. Has anyone used it and had any problems? Generally speaking, I'd have to say that I am very happy with my original PACT scale since it has weighed several thousand charges, but I need to send it back for repair and I just dont know how their customer service is.

I have the same problem with my pact scale... Can;t calibrate and if it does,1 in a 100 tries) the reading is all over the place for the same charge,1.5gr difference). I also have their dispenser and this was a very good combo until the scale gave out.

My Pact is just sitting because it will not maintin zero and takes tooooo long to measure charges. I LOVE MY RCBS---no way to even compare the 2 IMHO---I even live 20 min from PACT!!

Also had a problem calibrating my PACT scale. A call to their customer service fixed the problem on the spot. There is a procedure, pushing the control buttons in a certain sequence, that corrected the problem. Don't ask me how, I've forgotten. The PACT customer service rep walked me through the procedure on the phone. They should include this info in their instruction book. The scale is now at PACT being fitted with an IR port,It's one of the early ones) so it can be used with the powder dispenser. I don't have anything against RCBS, but the cost of converting my scale and adding the dispenser is much less than the RCBS unit. We'll see. The RCBS dispenser MAY be usable with the PACT scale. Check the PACT website for info.
