overall cartrige length

Hey guys. My Nosler manual says that the max. overall length on the 22-250 is 2.35. If I insert a 55gr bthp in an empty case and chamber it into my Remington 700 all of them come out at 2.412. Do you think that if I drop back to 2.40 that I will be OK?
