Over Dominate Eye..non-dominate blurry for an Hour?

Guy/Gals for the last 3 years as soon as I put my eye on a scope or iron sights "right eye right handed" my Left eye goes blurry for up to and over an hour. I mean blurry as if my glasses are off. I wear glasses all the time because I have Astigmatisem. Can't see near or far with glasses off. But as soon as I look through a scope I can't see with my left eye for an hour with glasses on. Now with binos I am good to go, its the weirdest thing. Yeah I have talked to my eye Docotor. He said that my right eye is SO Dominate that it makes my left eye weak. I don't know what is going on, nothing hurts like a head ache, I don't feel funny like dizzy, so I am just to deal with it. I mean its as if I was to put an eye patch on like a pirate because I have no use of my left eye. Its driving me crazy. Anyways Help!!

I use clear cellophane tape over my left eye glass so I don't have to close my left eye. Read dr. Norman Wong's articles on eye's and shooting

+1 for 7mmtcu. You should shoot with both eyes open.After every shot you should turn your eye's and look at a distance and then close-up and repeat this to alleviate eye stress.
