I'd like to thank everyone for your support. Her and the rest of the US team have done pretty well down there. Fun to watch. Katie's had a lot of success over the years but every once in a while the wheels fall off for a match. Today was one of those days in 50 meter smallbore. After shooting a 592 for the 3rd best elimination score she only shot a 580 in the qualification match and didn't get to the final like she hoped.
@butchlambert thank you for your support. I'm her #1 fan but you are a close 2nd no doubt.
@Alex Wheeler after she whoops up on me at the first match I'll be back to carrying her gear like she's 9 years old again.

@tom I will try to get her to come with sometime. Are you going to make her shoot offhand at 100? I'd like to see if she can get a group that far away. If nothing else it would be good mental training because the entertainment factor will have her really distracted

@TTE she was 1st alternate for smallbore and 2nd alternate for air rifle.
@Tim Slater is spot on how it all played out. Sagen shot very well at the Olympics. I feel USA Shooting has a good selection process for determining Olympic spots. It was 3 different 2-day matches with finals points added in and spread out for about a year. Haven't heard if it will stay the same for '28.
