What would your thoughts be for starting a Thread where we can post rifle/scope/mount combinations that work? I have had a devil of a time with many of the rifles I've put together, because many times I cannot find the necessary details needed to set-up a rifle, and quite frankly...the manufacture's fit materials leave alot to be desired.
For instance...my CZ527 American has a sporter barrel, but it is commonly known that the supplied rings don't offer an optimum fit for the stock. There is alot of conflicting information available, however, by trial and error I found a combination that works well for me (and the scope that I have chosen) However, for reference...a picture is worth a thousand words:
CZ527 American, Sporter Barrel, Warn Medium Rings, Burris TAC 30 scope. No bolt handle modification necessary (ala Calhoon bolt mod).
