Optics For My New to Me Savage 93 .17HMR
I picked up a Savage 93R17 and want new optics. I have been doing quite a bit internet searching and I am pretty certain I have narrowed it down to the Hawke Vantage IR 4-16X50 AO
Rimfire .17HMR Reticle.

I like the idea of the caliber specific BDC and the illumination option. I have read nothing but good reviews and I can pick it up on sale under $200. Does anyone have any experience with the brand or this scope in particular? I also like the warranty.

A lot of your decision has to do with what you are going to use the rifle for. Get the best optic you can afford that will suit your purpose. We have had some "know your limits" fun shoots at the club that I belong to and we shoot out to 300 yds. with our .22's. Most have capable rifles but some have limited themselves with their optics.
