optic boosters effect of front focal plane?

What effect would an optical booster have on a front focal plane reticle? Would it b magnified the 3x or would it hold the same sub tensions? Id like more magnification but not at the price of moa subtensions. Thanks, nick.

Every thing will stay the same, except larger - the mils will still read the same but the reticle will appear thicker (which is already a problem with FFP scopes).

I doubt that the booster lenses give you three times the power, more like a +3 diopter, and the larger the diopter number (at least on a 2nd focal plane) the shorter the eye relief. I use a +2 diopter (that reduces eye relief about a half inch), that I like a lot, but I do not believe that I could use a +2.5 or higher because my eyepiece adjustment before adding the lens does not allow enough room to move the eyepiece forward on the scope as much as a higher number would require. Using a positive diopter lens on the eyepiece increases magnification by shortening the focal length of the eyepiece, which means that it has to be screwed forward to bring the reticule into focus. This is all 2nd focal plane experience, so I am not positive about how it will work on first, but I thought that the issues were worth bringing up.
