opinions on spotting scopes for F Class

I sold my Vortex Razor 27-60x80 spotting scope as I thought I was going to quit F Class shooting. Had my rifle listed on here but decided not to sell it and go ahead and compete again. I am trying to decide on getting the Vortex again or just about doubling the funds and get a Kowa 883 with a 25-60 wide eyepiece. Just looking for input from the great bunch on this forum.

A Kowa with ED glass is as good as any and much better than most for your intended purpose. It, in my opinion, offers the best compromise for cost and optical/mechanical quality of all options. If I had a do over I would have opted for the Kowa Prominar over the Swarovski I use. That being said, Votex's top spotter (I don't recall the model as I only used it for scoring at a match) shows faint mirage in low light/heat conditions almost as well as my Swaro.

Love my Kowa 883 w/LER eyepiece and couldn’t ever imagine shooting without it. Started with a Razor like a lot of people but the difference between the two is night and day.
