What's your opinion on Kevin Owens? I've watched his videos for quite sometime and I enjoy what he had to say. To say the guy is a real badass isn't giving him near the credit. His life story is absolutely amazing. He's pretty much done it all with regards to military, specops, operator, working on weapons evaluation with SOCOM, teaching sniper training to Marines, and now his consulting company, Overmatch Consulting which focuses on ELR shooting.

He hasn't gotten any prettier.

What can you say? Definitely a BTDT guy. A lot of wisdom to impart, and why it's imparted. Not just "I told you, that's why." You can see it in that interview.

I have no idea what you're getting at. To say that "very few have stepped up to defend America" is a straight up slap to the face to more that 41 million service members that signed their lives away to the American Military over the course of history of the U.S.A.

I was one of those who enlisted 4 years of my life to defend and protect America. The actual number is about 16.2 million or 6%. living today according to the Census Bureau.

Every last one trained first and foremost to protect and defend. That means be ready to kill if the need arises. As a veteran, who knows many others, most are still ready to step up.

BTW, 6.2% 93.8% didn't. I stand by my comment of "very few".

Agreed, and most every one of them is now dead, my father and 3 uncles included.

If you want to stick with the 40 million figure, then how many Americans have lived since that time and didn't step up and serve?

There is a reason that 3%'ers are referenced throughout our history , so the reality of the 6% number seems valid , when comparing it to the actual population through history . The actual number doesn't matter , as much as "WE" know who we are , and what we did when asked .

I didn't watch the whole video but see that it is a garand thumb production.

These videos are what they are, entertainment. If you find something educational from it, then that is a plus.

Occasionally, I will go out and play gun games, and have won some matches, but I don't kid myself into thinking that I am, or will be, a top tier operator.

That video was done several years ago. I've known Kevin for 15 years now. I haven't seen him much since he retired. Funny, personable and very serious when it counts. Improved any organization he was with.
