I don't know about no .25, I've seen a guy take a 9mm in the eye and kept going, another with a .380 in the forehead whipped out a knife and got the shooter.

A Sgt. I used to work with got shot point blank in the side of the head with a .25 ACP. Pissed him off so much he shot the bad guy 8 times in return....... Crappy 1st gen Silvertips and the bad guy lived to do a lengthy stay in Stateville.

What caliber? We were issued .38 +P+ and it was worthless. We'd carry them in our loops but revolvers had .357 Silvertips. Later we went to Federal 125 gr flying ashtrays.

1st generation Winchester Silvertip 9mm. Later we carried +P+ 115 JHP that was much better than the earlier load. 1,350 fps from our M39.
