Can anyone tell me what the shaded purple areas are on their maps? Thanks!

Yes, that I’ve seen, but the areas I’m talking about encompass private land, state land and other federal land. They’re not purple in their entirety. Sort of a pinkish/purple border and clear in their interior.

Check your layer setting and see what you have turned on.

Ok men, I think I figured it out. Appears to be roadless areas as the pink/purple borders all seem to be a half mile from the nearest road.

I work with gis and landowner data daily. I have applied to onx. It is unlikely that it is a roadless area. That data is not common. If you give me coordinates i can check it against the source data onx uses at work. I haven't looked at my onx recently but military and national park are both usually purple\pink.

I think it is a filter you have turned on that shows "roadless areas" which On X defines as being at least one mile form any road or trail that carries motorized vehicles.

Go into the "Roads, Trails & Rec" layer and make sure the "Roadless Areas" is turned off if you are trying to get rid of it. Its pretty useless IMO as there are lots of trails that on X doesn't show that cut into their "roadless" areas.
