One sure way its clear we went through a fair amount of ammo this year, and the primer catcher was already dumped once this year.
With 4 of us shooting it adds up in a hurry.
There are times when I have complained about the cost telling my wife there are many other things we could be doing that are " WAY CHEAPER " and her response is always " this is something we all do together as a family that we enjoy.
To say I'm Blessed with my family is an understatement.
Life is good.

It does get expensive feeding 400 plus rounds a match, bullets, primers, double or triple the shooting equipment... but where else can we spend time with our family and enjoy it as much as we do.
Every match I get to spend with my family and every hunt we venture out on, I keep thinking, will this be the last one? My sons are going up, and will soon loose interest in doing thing like shooting, hunting, and fishing with me. We also dont know if we will be here tomorrow.

You are living a dream and hopefully it wont be over any time soon. Enjoy it while you can.

You could be wasting the money!

Not complaining
You got the WHOLE family on board and you are bitchin about the cost??? You ought to be ashamed.
Not complaining about the cost at all I just feel there are times they would rather be doing something else.
My wife and I are raising our 2 Grandsons and I'm blessed they enjoy being involved in the shooting.
All our fellow IBS shooters have embraced them being involved at every match which makes it that much better.
The older grandson Gage had surgery on his wrist this year and missed half the season yet he still placed very well overall.
The younger boy Remy has embraced it and truly excelled this year as a rookie and he takes it very serious even though he has never shot anything but a 22 before this year.
Didn't mean for this post to sound like a complaint just an old man reflecting how good I have it.
