One my prized possessions

Sorry for your loss. I lost mine in 1987. He wasn't a target shooter just a hunter and fisherman. He taught me to hunt and fish. I have very fond memories of those times. His deer rifle was a 30-30 Winchester Model 94, open sights. He took 18 bucks with it in the "big woods" of central PA.

Hope your dad's rifle brings back pleasant memories for you.

Take Care and God Bless.

I don’t guess I’d take ten times what it’s actually worthView attachment 1331567View attachment 1331568View attachment 1331569View attachment 1331570
That's a beauty sir!! Great to see you taking such great care of it too. Good on you partner.

I sure don't have to ask you what you're thinking of when you pull it out to clean it or put a few rounds down range with it...... probably the same things I think of when I clean or take a walk with grandpa's, dad's, and one of my uncle's firearms. ;) WD

For your loss, my sympathies, for your memories that is what keeps him alive. I’ve always thought of the things that I have in my life not of things I have owned but of things that I was a caretaker of until they are passed on to someone else and all that I hope is that they will enjoy them as much as I have. They are never MINE !
