One more time ...CH3 or NP2dd or 12x42 in Night Force Scope.

I know this has been discussed before but I am trying to get some more input.

I am thinking of getting a NF 12x42 Benchrest scope. I seem to like the CH3 or the NP2DD retcles. I shoot mostly for groups @ 100- 300. Some 600 Yards. Please give my any opinions or what you like on the above retcles for this type shooting.

I have had both the 8-32 and 12-42 both NP2DD. I shoot 600 and 1000 yd F Class. I like the NP2DD reticle as it is uncluttered and allows me very precise aiming, and I can see more of whats going on- Mirage, the guys target next to me, etc. But thats just my opinion. Thats why they make lots of reticles. I sold the 8-32 to get a 12-42 as I can use more mag. on a non- bad mirage day.

The NP2DD is OK for shots out to 600. Beyond that, I like the CH3 because it is easier to hold off for wind/mirage conditions.
