My scope is sightron 8x32 1/4 clicks,so how many clicks do I go up?

You have quarter min clicks so every 4
clicks = 1 MOA. So 4 x 4.5 = 18 is the math .

I don't think you're wrong if you want to make a 4.5 inch adjustment.

The ballistics chart is calculating a 4.5 MOA adjustment to compensate for the 14.3 inches in drop at 300 yards (for a 100 yard zero).

I get it, got to thinkimg about it. 6 clicks would only move 1.5" at 100 yds.

Stop thinking in clicks......think MOA only.

The big numbers are marked in MOA, so dial to 4 and two clicks and shoot.

At 500, there's no way you want to fart around and count 44 clicks to get there. Dial to 11 and shoot.

Alf is right when you think in MOA it becomes very simple and if your scope has a zero stop, it's really a piece of cake.
