Went to one of the clubs I belong to that has a very nice pistol range. When I arrived there was no one at either the rifle or pistol range, just one guy at the archery range.
I've been a member of this fine club for over 30 years and I have never been there on a sunny, mild, Sunday afternoon and the firearms ranges were empty. This club has over 2,000 members. Wow - it was eerie - I felt like the Omega Man - last man on earth.
Did manager to work out my 4" Model 34 S&W rim fire and 4" Model 19 S&W with 38+P reloads. Shot some nice slow fire scores on an NRA B2 50 foot target, i.e. 88 and 91 respectively - not to bad for an old man with bifocals.
Felt good to get some trigger time. Helped me recall happier times. This may be my last range time for a while, most of the surrounding States have went to lock down and I'm anticipating that PA will be next, probably this week.
These are strange times for sure. Wish all of you the best and that you make it through these trying times safety. God Bless all of you.
