old stock duplication

I have a friend that is looking to get a replica made for an older winchester rifle. Is there a place to look into to get that done for reasonable money?

Is he wanting a rough duplicate right off the machine, or someone to build him a completed duplicate stock?

Treebone does a lot of rifles Oder patterns I believe, and can probably use existing stock also.

Yeah! I did a rendition of an older Winchester from the ‘70s, I call it the Yellow Submarine!

Does he have the original stock, and is looking to replace it- or does he just have the barreled action?
Anyone with a duplicator could do it (I do, but too busy now) if he has the original stock-even if damaged, etc.

If he doesn't, he'll need a stockmaker that has the pattern for the stock desired.

he has the original stock with is all there but has not aged well. It would be a duplicate to 96-98% i would guess. I can finish fit and finish of it if needed. its a old winchester 19-0somethingA in 22 rimfire i think he said. I can get details if its needed

It would be cheaper to find an original, but anyone with a duplicator could make one , IF he has the original stock . When i do them it takes about 6 to 8 hrs plus set up . Its not goig to be cheap . Im not doing any stock work at this time .

If it is the 1900/2/4 you might want to check macongunstocks.com. They have the stock listed.

I am not sure, but I think they got a lot of Fajen's masters some time after they went out of business.
