Old School Varmint Hunting

Sometimes it's nice to slow it down a bit, and make life simpler. I headed out today for a few hours with my "boys rifle", Remington Model 6. It's close to being a hundred years old, and still deadly accurate within it's range. A pocket full of standard velocity CCI's, and a few relaxing hours in the hills above the house, an I feel younger at heart.

As ya can see in the bottom pic, the babies our out already, and aren't much bigger than a good sized grasshopper. Makes for some pretty fine sight work with open sights and my not so young eyeballs. jd
