Maybe this has been posted before, but I came across this really cool old video of the Remington production line. It's pretty amazing how things have changed!

Pretty neat to watch the old machines work. Odd how the world renowned bench rest shooter really didn't use the rest as intended though. A good find. Thanks for sharing.

Nothing like walnut and steel. even the field grade guns had class.

Now NY has stuffed it to the businesses so often for so long no one in their right mind stays here, paying taxes that are used to restrict the citizen and the business man in the name of "equality". ya, all equally restricted into serfdom. And don't think it won't happen in your red state...vote for a true constitutionalist for President.

I was really impressed with how much hands on work was done back then. Granted, a lot of it was automated, but I guarantee today's rifles touch fewer hands than they did back then. I think I might have even seen my uncle's Wingmaster being assembled!

That was a great video! I bought my first Mdl 700 in the 60's and I paid 150.00 for it was a model 700 BDL Iin 308 win that has been since re barreled to 22-250 ai by Darrel Holland. It has the relief cut for a stripper clip! RW

I didn't see the machine that makes the Rubbermaid stocks? Where was it? I meen if you want class, nothing says it more then trash can materials!!
