old powder worth trying

Been messing with a 22BR no turn 1-9", and finally hit a load that really perks, hanging around a quarter min at 418 yds. I had a large jug of Scott or brigadier 4351 left over froma while back and tried it in the BR. The load that is doin it now is the Nosler customcomp 80 grain molied with a remington 7 1/2,from the same era) starting a bit over 30 grains of the 4351. Velocity is around 3100 with a reasonable sd. If you have any of this on the shelf you may want to try it, Id start below, probably atouch under 32gr and see. This powder used to shoot exceptionally well in a 6x44 in a hunter gun years ago. loading density is right at 100% with no compression.
