I've always been a prone shooter, using a bipod. Three years ago I bought a 457Mtr for practice and was frustrated with my inability to shoot it well, especially the flyers. Rather than going down the hole with a new barrel, yada yada yada I decided to get a decent custom. PTG Holeshot action and Shilen action dropped off to Mr John Langley, a true gentleman, to build using and old stock and trigger I had. Well now I added my first bench rest too. Nice groups, no flyers, and no loading! As my ageing body dislikes prone shooting more every day, I see this Rimfire becoming a nice replacement. And my first BR match next week!
