OLD Bullet Press ID

Saved this from being junked. My buddy at BRUNO'S says it's not theirs and my knowledge of the Old and gnarly (= really cool) stuff is in cartridge reloading.

All info and half-informed speculation and fuzzy memories are welcome on this. :-)

Sure looks like an ejector pin for a point forming die in there.

Thanks!

Blackmon is consistent with the B S S cast into both sides of the press handle. NOW i get to look for a way to mount my punches into that 7/8x14 hole.

Who are the machinists these days who can re-hone that point-up die???

Yes, that's a Larry Blackmon 'Mity Mite' press. The punches go into a punch holder that screws into the press. You can reach Larry at Bullet Swaging Supply.

Cryin' shame someone let that happen.

Thank you all! I will pull the die and check those threads, George. Any suggestions on where I should send the die to have the interior polished up? I think I can work out a way to get a pin into the press head.

Corbin took over Ted Smiths die making business the Corbin Mighty Mite presses are modeled after the SAS. The ejection pin is held in place with a pin that fits into a notch
