Just curious if anyone had some old barrels or stubs laying around they wouldn’t mind parting ways with. Want to practice setting up and chambering a barrel on things that don’t matter before I attempt it on the real thing.
Buy yourself some 1.25” aluminum rod off ebay. Fit it up then part it off. Once you get good with the aluminum buy yourself some stainless rod. Too hard to set up stubs and old barrels only have 1 or 2 chambers before they get too small plus theres no sense in wasting time setting up on a taper just to practice shanking. On a straight 1.25” rod you can use the whole thing.Just curious if anyone had some old barrels or stubs laying around they wouldn’t mind parting ways with.
