Old 6 mm barrel for fireforming brx brass

Does anyone know where I can find an old burned out 6 mm barrel for fire forming brx brass?Id prefer not to use one of my brand new barrels for the process. Thanks

Most gunsmiths have piles of factory take-off and old worn out barrels. Talk to your personal smith or some other local smith. I'm sure one of them will be able to help you out.

Do you want something to chamber thats worn out. What tenon size?

Fireforming 6mmBRX. It has been my experience that the 30.5 grain varget loads with my bullets jammed .035" into the lands, that fireforming loads are accurate enough to shoot in matches to 600 yds. I prefer to fire form in the chamber that I am going to shoot the fireformed brass in later.
I find that most of my rifles will shoot 20 shot groups (fireforming) under .4" at 100 yards and under 2" at 600.
I shoot my fireforming loads when I practice shooting.
Just my two cents worth.

Plus 1 on shooting them.
You need to sight in, break in, and all that, so you may as well get the feel for it...
I use my forming loads for hunting critters with no problems...
Unless your 101% dead on your measurements you'll not be 100% on both barrels...
