Bartlesville does have a 100 yard range that also accommodates shotgun and bow, you do have to do an application process.

There is some public hunting land on Copan lake 5 mins, north of bville, and also some good hunting west of town if you like to hunt hogs. There's many many hogs on pond creek and Caney river just north of Hulah lake. Not any Prarie dogs that I know of in the Bartlesville area. There is some good coyote hunting. Instead of Prarie dogs most people shoot turtles....lol Sports World in Tulsa OK is another good gun store, of course Bass Pro Shop is in Broken Arrow.
I failed to mention the supposed "200 yard" range...one of my disgruntled arguments with the club reps...they call it 200 but it's actually 185 yards. There's also, reportedly, a 1000 yd range just west of Bartlesville, and to ammend Fred's post; the sportsmens club now has a 200 yd range as well. Also as a member of the club you get wholesale pricing on reloading supplies from Graf's.
20 miles west of Bartlesville is a place to fish for Trout, but be careful shooting at Turtles in Okla, I think they are protected. Good Quail, Turkey, Dove, and Pheasant(controlled hunts) or in the wild in western Okla.

Here's a link to the turtles...just don't shoot the ones listed as endangered or threatened. Other than that to me it appears you can shoot them.
PS, I like the nuisance part....
My son has been accepted to Oklahoma Wesleyan University, in Bartlesville, the Green Country of OK.
Any shooters from the area that can tell me about the hunting, the area, the availability of shooting opportunities?

Rex Reneau the guy that heads this shoot up....you can't meet a better person. Very very friendly and helpful and a good riflesmith to boot. This is one of my first BR matches I ever attendedSnert -

And the duck hunting is actually pretty good in the area, especially if you like pond jumping. The fishing is awesome in most any farm pond or creek, river or lake.
