There's a few smiths in Shawnee area too but i'd have to check in with them

Sorry, I do not know Smiths in NE OK but I do know the F-Class Prez lives up there and he's a smart cat and would know who to put you in contact with if a few hours travel is out of the question.

PM me for phone numbers if you'd like.

there is one in hominy close by but he is very secretive, not sure why lol. does anyone know of him.....He asked how I heard of him then told me don't tell anyone where the building is.

Maybe, he'd prefer to work "by appointment only". I had a guy stop by to pick up some magazines I'd ordered for him,,,,,,,, 45 minutes later I got to go back to work......

Keeps those away (some of the time) who want you to "accurize" their Mosin-Nagant , 'fix' their AK or tell you how much he knows about what you do, because he 'built' his own AR! Many small business owners, literally, make an hourly wage. Might be more of an hourly wage than an employer pays you (+ the benefits), but you don't have to buy the expendable tooling, the equipment, keep that equipment maintained & repaired, keep the books or pay someone to, pay the insurance, or pay the "self employment tax". 45 minutes to sell 3 magazines that the guy already knew he wanted at a price already agreeded upon? Wonder why some gunsmiths are always a little behind schedule?

Robert Denton in Ponca City built a .17/204 on a Remington 700 action for me recently. Preliminary testing results look very promising so far. Vic

Jon Beanland for sure.
He just build a 308 FTR rifle for me. I have just started working with it.
Jon is a good guy. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
He is busy like all the other good gunsmiths.

Dos XX I heard of them from Frank Brackets father in law Kenneth, Kenneth has 1000 acres he said the smith and friends in question have shot on. Id rather not say where the building is due to he asked me not to. I figured he may be a member and contact me. The area where it may be located has unemployment in the 40% rate, high welfare rate, Kids that are raised and be on disability, meth cookers and drugs are prevalent.

If he is a member and does contact me I wasn't sure if he smiths by appointment only and Im nervous about going back to his shop and dropping in.

I understand what people mean when a person drops by and takes an hour to BS.....I call them time bandits..ha

McKool Firearms,,,,,,, Tulsa 918-663-3880 they've been there forever! I've stocked some of their metal work. Looked 1st class to me!
