OKAY. MAYBE JUST MAYBE.

Okay. If I can find a place to hunt mule deer or antelope for a reasonable price by Nov. I think I'm going to do that instead. I'm not a big fan of brush hunting. I'm still going to go if I can't by then. All that wasted potential is driving me nuts to be honest. You guys know of any state you don't have to draw a tag and there is descent potential. I life in Eastern Ohio. I can drive a ways but don't want the vacation to spread out forever.Maybe leave from work on a friday night/saturday morning. drive there. stay two or three days drive back recover then go back to work???????

Left over antelope tags for the state go on sale out here July 10th, plenty of public lands here in WY.

Just a thought in passing. If you don't rule out white tails there are plenty of big bean fields to hunt with long shots and lots of game. Those farms are a lot closer to you than mulies and antelope.

A couple of years ago, I drove from Spearfish, SD, across the NW corner of WY to I-90 and thence onto Billings, MT. Never saw so many speed goats in my life. They were everywhere.
