Oily brass

Last season i put about 50 pieces of brass in a ziplock bag that i had a bottle of gun oil kept in and forgot about till this year . Now the brass has a oil coating all over it .. What should i do to prep it before reloading ? I dont have a tumble

Dawn dish soap, and a squeeze of citrus juice. Will remove the oil and shine it up. Rinse in plain water, can dry it in the oven at 200° for 30-45 minutes.

What a great excuse to buy a wet tumbler. Once you have it you will find a lot of uses for it and will not know how you did without it. For wet tumbling use one part Simple Green and seven parts water and tumble up to two hours as needed. Dry in toaster over on warm for 30 minutes.
