Grandson's inlaws are in a nursing home. They need to sell his bass boat and have not a clue to a price range. U
It is a Skeeter bass boat. It is a 1986 Starfire with a 175 Yamaha. Somebody stole the depth finder.
Any idea on price range?

You could or grandson go to, Bassboatcentral.com and look on "boats for sale" for it
or one very close to it and see what they are asking.
Bass boats that old won't bring much.

I was going to say $2500-5000 depending on its overall condition. I checked boat trader and they only had one boat in the age period.

Thanks guys. I believe they were thinking in the $3500 range. I've seen it several times in back by their garage with a cover on it. Kinda like cars, condition condition condition!

Might try the on line BOAT TRADER to see if anything is comparable in your area.

If Auto Trader (sort of a newspaper type thing) is published in your area, you'll get more local prices (assuming you can find a similar boat for sale.)

5 years ago it probably was a give away, but inflation has returned some value to old glass/alum boats in water tight condition. Motor will need new fuel lines/gaskets that are ethanol safe.

Skeeter bass boats are a very well known and respected mfg. and new ones are expensive, they all are. It'll be worthwhile to do some checking on comparable models.
