Oehler model 43 Personal Ballistics Labratory

I have recently aquired one of these machines and I am trying to get all set up to take it out and do some load development form my 6br.

Does anybody have experience with this set up? What software version are you using? The one I recieved has a 3.5" floppy with version 1.06 which is ms DOS. I am hoping someone has a version that will work with windows.

I tried calling oehler but the guy that answered was not very helpful and couldnt even tell me if they had the software available. I have been waiting almost a week for them to reply so I figured maybe someone here could help me out.

Thanks

Shane

The system 43 has been out of production for quite some time - I doubt that you will be able to get much help.

Most windows operating systems will run in what is called a "DOS" emulator mode. I'm not a computer wiz, but maybe go on Google and see what you can find.

I know it has been out of production for quite a while but from what I can gather it is still one of the most accurate and unique tools available. I figured someone here would be using it.

I will try the DOS emulator to see if I can get it rolling that way.... I know that there was a newer version that they sold, just not sure how I will be able to acquire it.

Thanks

Shane,
We still use them at work, I know they use computers that are running windows so I will asked what system they have, I might even be able to make a copy if they can find the disk, I will try to find out tonight.
Wayne.
