When the 7PRC came out I was curious and had this rifle built, Zack with Old Dominion Custom Rifles built the rifle. If you’ve owned one of his rifles you know he builds quality, I have few rifles he built and they all shoot itty bitty. We’ve built a few on Tikka actions with good results and this is one of them. I just wanted to see what a 7PRC was all about instead of reading about it. That’s being said I never really got past break in with this rifle, I keep grabbing my Saums, I kind of lost interest or maybe I should say I just couldn’t fit it into the rotation. Zack just delivered a 7 Saum improved in July which means I know I’ll never really give this rifle the time it deserves. It has 102 rounds on the barrel, just broke in. Rifle specs are below. I’m pricing it reasonable, if it doesn’t sell it’ll be a great loaner when friends or family need to a rifle for hunt.
- Tikka action
-Mountain Tactical bottom metal
-Original Hawk Hill Barrel (one of the last ones made before he sold) 1-8 twist
-McMillan Game hunter stock. Picatinny rail in the front with QD, QD on the left and bottom, 4” arca I attached myself. Beast 3 port brake. Spiral fluted
- Barrel is 25” from the front of the action to the end of the brake, .715 radius where the brake starts
-Rifle weighs 7LBs 1 ounce
- scope and rings aren’t part of the deal
- comes with 50 pieces of primed ADG brass, I can give you the brake in load info but it’s ready to develop a new load now that the barrel has 102 rounds on it.
-Trigger breaks at 1.5LBs
This rifle is accurate, the brake is extremely affective, very little recoil. A woman or young person could shoot it without much issue.
I’m asking 2400.00 delivered to your FFL, if your FFL requires I send it via a FFL add 50.00 let’s try 2200.00 shipped
I’m happy to keep the bright stock and give the animals a chance, lol. I always have use for another Tikka stock. If your interested in the barreled action I’d sell it for 1850.00, let’s try 1600.00
Possible trades would be Staccatos 2011s, Platypus 2011s, Volquartsen rimfires, Remington LVSF in 204. If you have something to trade I’m always willing to listen. I don’t need anymore centerfire bolt actions unless it’s a cool old Sako, Steyr or something along those lines. I’d really prefer to sell it though. If your interested or have questions, just ask. It’s easy to take more pics too if you’d like more. My feedback is easy to look up.
