Oak Ridge 1000 yard matches

Reminder: Oak Ridge will have two days of 1000 yard shooting this weekend, May 10-11. We will have a 3x1000 on both days. This is for prone and F-class. Shooting starts at 10am with registration starting at 830am. This is a NRA approved match. Hope to see you there.

Well, this year the Oak Ridge regional is the weekend just before the big Midwest Palma match in Lodi, WI so most people attending that match will need to drive up on that Sunday (Father's Day) to shoot the warm-up/team-match day in Lodi on Monday. Sometimes you just can't win.

Weather looks like it will partly sunny high in upper 70's tomorrow and Sunday in the 80's.

Saturday was pretty gloomy and raining and I bailed out to go do something else. Sunday was a really nice day and there were a fair number of competitors, considering the consequences for some. Very light winds and a perfect day to try to build scores.
