So posted in an AR-15 group about being excited to load these up for my 20" 1:8 .223 wyled build and umm alot of the commnts I was getting where..... Like I'm hoping these guys are just trolling but some of them where so confident sooo..Yeah... Have I just been reloading the wrong bullets for the last 7-8 years ?
Question every thing even if they talk like that know what their saying

Since the widespread use of social media, there is a preponderance of "experts". In my day, it was gun magazine writers that had to come up with some "new" theory or "idea" every month to justify their existence.

I remember one in particular, the 243 Win cannot reliably take deer. Bullshit.

I have learned the hard way that only by testing in your rifle under your conditions, for your intended purposes can you sort through all the garbage and nonsense. That's not to say that there isn't excellent advice and ideas on the net, but one needs to proceed cautiously and test before adopting someone wholesale. Also, we should always be open to new ideas and innovations but here again, test it for yourself.

Also, what may work for someone in a different shooting discipline, may not be the optimum choice for you and your discipline. By having clearly defined goals for your purposes you can get to where you want to be easier and quicker and avoid a lot of detours and unnecessary costs.

But!!! Those are the wrong bullets to shoot in your AR because they’re TOO EXPENSIVE!
I tried these and they shoot great in three different ARs and two bolt guns. Save some of your hard earned money.

I think the more important question is what powder are you going to use? I'm sure we'll have at least 6 different recommendations all which perform so we'll, that you could call your 223 Wylde a, "224 Valk. Special" and I bet you'd get lots of sales on that forum...
