Junior Rifle Shooters and Parents

I want to remind everyone about the NRA Junior High Power Rifle Championship, July 5-6, at the Oak Ridge Sportsmens Association. This will be the first-ever NRA Regional Championship dedicated to Junior shooters. It's a cooperative effort with NRA and the Tennessee Shooting Sports Association and we hope this pilot event will encourage other clubs to begin sponsoring similar tournaments for Junior shooters throughout the nation.

We want to have as many junior shooters as possible on hand both days to make this initial championship a huge success. The team match on Friday is not limited to only organized teams. It's open to any junior shooters. We'll group any individuals into pick-up teams so everyone on hand will get to shoot.

I'd appreciate your help to spread the word. Please share this information with other junior shooters and adult leaders that you know. The attached tournament program is posted for your convenience on the ORSA HP Rifle website at http://www.orsahp.com/ along with entry forms.
